From signing in to verifying your ID, these timely nudges ensure you don’t miss any critical steps along the way. No more delays, no more last-minute scrambling just a clear path forward. 

Why We Built SMS Reminders 

Life gets busy. Emails get lost in cluttered inboxes; app notifications can slip by unnoticed, and before you realise it, an important step in your tax process remains incomplete. Unfortunately, missed steps can quickly turn into frustrating delays that slow down your lodgment. 

That’s where SMS reminders come in. Text messages cut through the noise, landing directly on your phone where you’re most likely to see them. Our system now sends automated reminders at key points in your journey, helping you keep momentum without adding to your workload.  

Each message is timely, friendly, and actionable, giving you exactly what you need to keep progressing toward your tax return. 

1. Reminders After Registration (Sign-In Pending) 

When you first register with Lodge Pro, you’ll receive a verification email with a temporary password. But if you don’t sign in and complete your account set-up within 24 hours, our system steps in with an SMS reminder. 

We’ll send up to five reminders at regular intervals (24h, 72h, 120h, 168h, and 216h) until you sign in. Each reminder includes a direct link to the sign-in page plus support contact details if you run into trouble. 

2. Reminders for Pending ID Verification 

Signing in is only step one. Next comes ID verification, a crucial requirement to move forward with your tax lodgment. If your status remains pending, we’ll keep you on track with gentle nudges. 

You’ll receive up to five reminders after your first sign-in (24h, 72h, 120h, 168h, and 216h). This way, you won’t lose time or momentum simply because ID verification slipped your mind. 

3. Reminders After Failed ID Verification 

Sometimes, despite your best efforts, ID verification may fail on the first attempt. Instead of leaving you stuck, our system immediately sends you an SMS so you can retry without delay. 

Just like other steps, you’ll get up to five reminders at the same regular intervals until you successfully complete verification.
